A young tennis player from a mountainous region in southwest China has been in the spotlight recently, not only for winning a title in a domestic tennis tour, but also for carrying his rackets in a bamboo basket.
Wang Fa, a 14-year-old from Cangyuan Wa Autonomous County, Yunnan Province, just won the U14 boys' singles title at the 2022 ASICS Tennis Junior Tour in Guangzhou. He was photographed carrying his rackets in a bamboo basket, an iconic product from his hometown.
