Beijing Guoan publishes a poster to welcome new signing Kang Sang-woo.
BEIJING, April 20 (Xinhua) -- South Korean defender Kang Sang-woo said he would try his best to make his spell at Beijing Guoan memorable.
Kang, who was unveiled by Beijing Guoan last week, said he can be a great help to the Beijing side in their effort to win this season's Chinese Super League title.
"Our head coach trusts me and rates me highly," he said through an interpreter.
"I can play many positions in addition to left defender, this is the reason why our head coach chose me."
"I hope we can do more (in the new season) to reward our club and fans," he added.
The kickoff date of the 2022 Chinese Super League campaign remains undecided. ■
