KUWAIT CITY, April 5 (Xinhua) -- The Kuwaiti government has submitted its resignation to Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported on Tuesday.
Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Tuesday received Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, who tendered the resignation of the government, KUNA said.
On Nov. 23, 2021, the Kuwaiti crown prince issued an order on behalf of the emir to appoint Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as prime minister and assign him to form a government.
On Dec. 28, 2021, Kuwait formed a new government led by Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. ■
